Terms of Service

Acceptance

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of microtripgo.com and any itinerary planning, route packs, or booking coordination supplied by Microtrip Go Pty Ltd (“Microtrip Go”, “we”, “us”). By browsing the site, requesting a quote, or paying an invoice, you confirm that you have read these Terms and agree to be bound by them. If you do not agree, you must not use our services.

Where you act on behalf of a company or group, you warrant that you have authority to bind that entity. Consumers in Australia receive the benefit of non-excludable guarantees under the Australian Consumer Law; nothing in these Terms limits those guarantees.

Services

We provide curated microtrip routing, PDF or digital itinerary packs, supplier introductions, and administrative assistance with reservations. Unless a written agreement states that we are the principal supplier, contracts for accommodation, vehicle hire, tours, and similar services are between you and the third-party operator. Our role is to coordinate and communicate on your behalf where you have authorised us to do so.

Route descriptions, driving times, and opening hours are compiled in good faith from public sources and partner data. Roadworks, weather closures, and operator policy changes can alter conditions without notice. You remain responsible for checking timetables, park alerts, and vehicle suitability before you depart.

Booking and payment

Quotes are valid for the period stated on the quote. All amounts are in Australian dollars (AUD) including GST where applicable, unless another currency is expressly agreed. Deposits secure supplier inventory subject to each partner’s confirmation. Final balances are due by the date on your invoice. Late payment may result in cancellation of unconfirmed components.

Payment methods accepted will be listed on your invoice. Card payments are processed by regulated payment service providers; we do not store your full card details on our servers.

Cancellations

Cancellation fees depend on each supplier’s terms and how close the cancellation is to the travel date. Our Refund Policy explains how credits and refunds are passed through. Non-refundable planning or amendment fees, if any, are disclosed before you commit funds.

Your responsibilities

You must hold a valid driver licence appropriate for any vehicle you operate, maintain compulsory third-party and comprehensive insurance as you deem fit, obtain national park passes or permits where required, respect Traditional Owners’ access rules and signage, and comply with all Commonwealth, state, and local laws including speed limits and alcohol limits.

You must provide accurate contact and medical or dietary information where it affects safety or booking outcomes. You indemnify us for losses we suffer due to materially false or incomplete information you supply.

Our responsibilities

We will prepare services with reasonable skill and care consistent with the description on your booking or quote. If a service fails to meet a consumer guarantee and the failure is not a major failure, we may choose to resupply the service or refund the price paid for that component. We are not responsible for delays or failures caused by events outside our reasonable control, including natural disasters, industrial action, or government directions.

Intellectual property

All text, graphics, logos, route pack layouts, and compiled data on microtripgo.com remain the property of Microtrip Go or its licensors. You receive a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use purchased route packs for your own travel. You may not resell, scrape, or republish our content for commercial training or competing itinerary services without written consent.

Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude liability for indirect or consequential loss including lost profits, lost data, or missed connections. Where the Australian Consumer Law permits limitation, our aggregate liability arising from these Terms is capped at the fees you paid to Microtrip Go for the specific booking giving rise to the claim in the twelve months before the event.

Indemnity

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Microtrip Go, its directors, and staff against third-party claims, damages, and reasonable legal costs arising from your breach of these Terms, your negligence, or your unlawful use of the site or recommendations.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. You submit to the non-exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria. If any provision is invalid, the remainder continues in effect.

Changes

We may revise these Terms by posting an updated version on this page and changing the “Last updated” date. Material changes affecting paid services will, where practicable, be communicated by email to active customers. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms for new bookings.
